Queenie is an adult dachshund. Though seemingly spoiled, Queenie is actually very majestic and wise. Being the gracious and good natured dog as she is, Queenie enjoys spending her time listening to classical music and thinking deeply. Queenie also loves to wear her gold color, needle felted crown with green and red "jewels". This crown is removable, wire based, and attaches to the head by a tiny pin. Queenie's sculpture was firmly needle felted and expertly made. Her base was created of carded wool, and her beautiful coat was made of brown, hand dyed mohair roving. This coat has a very soft and silky feel. Queenie is completely wire based except for her feet, and you can slightly alter the position of her head and tail. Queenie's eyes are made of glass to create an even more lifelike feel. This figurine's dimensions are 2 x 6 x 4 inches (5 x 15 x 10 cm).
