Laina is a pointer, Border Collie, and black Lab mix. She is a wonderful companion. A very smart and kind but a little bit shy doggy. She loves to lie on the sofa, eat good treats, and chase rabbits in her dreams. She has been a proud art model more than once. The logo of this web site (the small picture on top of each page) is that of a large sculpture of younger Laina (see a side-by-side comparison with the real dog in custom dog figurines). A miniature figurine of a full grown Laina is on the right of this page. It was needle felted of black and white Merino wool (as well as brown for her eyes). The figurine dimensions are 1 x 2 x 3½ inches (2.5 x 5  x 9 cm).
